Either Mike Kelly is out of touch with the community, or he just doesn't like certain members of it.
Speaking about the outrage sparked by police violence in Baltimore, the congressman had this to say to a radio host this past week:
“This is turning into anarchy and you have people doing things that are absolutely horrible and then saying, ‘oh it was just because I wasn’t given a chance,’ oh my God, give me a break...”

Kelly seems completely unfazed by the homicide of Freddie Gray, and the epidemic of police violence, especially against communities of color that is plaguing our country. He attributes the violent reaction in the streets to "big government" and a lack of "family values."
This is an unprovoked attack on a community that is already reeling from violence.
Tell Mike Kelly to apologize for his attacks and for his characterization of communities of color.
He certainly does not represent Pennsylvania when he cynically exploits an ongoing tragedy to demean the black community, and shill his outmoded talking points.
We can't let these kinds of comments go unchecked -- tell him that this kind of backwards thinking isn't acceptable, especially for an elected official.
